A gently rising dirt road in the transition zone where the city meets open desert, behind the Coca-Cola plant at the east end of Boulevard Colosio. About 10 minutes up, a junction splits: one branch spirals around a granite-boulder peak past an oddly out-of-place abandoned concrete house to panoramic views of the city, the Mogote sand spit, and the bay; the other opens a wide-angle view of the cactus-studded desert backing the city. Mountain-bike friendly.
